Xu Yao, Executive Director of Mintai'an Risk Management Research Institute, attended the 3rd National Symposium on Social Risk Assessment and Governance and delivered a speech

On May 13-14, the 3rd National Academic Symposium on Social Risk Assessment and Governance was held in Guangzhou. The conference, with the theme of "Social Risk Assessment and Governance under the Background of High Quality Development and High Level Security Positive Interaction", aims to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, promote the construction of a new development pattern of scientific, professional, legal, socialized, and intelligent social risk assessment and governance for major decision-making, consolidate the cornerstone of national governance with the modernization of social governance, and conduct special discussions around "Major Theory and Practice of Social Risk Assessment and Governance", "Long term Mechanism and Innovation of Social Risk Investigation and Research", "Comprehensive Mechanism and Effectiveness of Social Risk Source Prevention and Control" and other topics.

This conference is hosted by the Social Risk Assessment and Governance Working Committee, organized by Guangdong Guangzi International Investment Consulting Group, and co organized by the School of Government Management at East China University of Political Science and Law, the Urban Governance Research Institute at Peking University, the School of Government Management at Nanjing University, and the School of Public Administration at Hohai University. The conference fully played its role as a bridge and link, inviting more than 170 people from various sectors such as domestic universities, party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, and professional institutions to attend.

Dr. Xu Yao, General Manager of our Safety Emergency Business Department, Executive Director of Mintai'an Risk Management Research Institute, and Technical Director/Associate Researcher of Shenzhen Emergency Management Society, was invited to attend the conference and give a speech on "Risk Deviation and Its Correction in Social Stability Risk Assessment". Based on a questionnaire survey and interviews, he summarized the current practical difficulties in social stability risk assessment as "risk deviation", specifically manifested as external interference deviation, work direction deviation, and operational technical deviation. On the basis of a detailed analysis of these issues, he called on the academic and practical communities to contribute to the scientificization of risk assessment methods and the publicization of the risk assessment cause, so that social stability risk assessment can become a Truly leverage the benign mechanism of promoting social stability and people's well-being. His speech sparked lively discussions among the attendees.

It is reported that the annual conference is hosted by the Social Risk Assessment and Governance Working Committee and is an annual event in the field of social stability risk assessment. The next conference will be organized by Southwest University of Political Science and Law. Our company will continue to pay attention to and actively participate in the professionalization and scientification of social stability risk assessment, and make continuous and unremitting efforts to safeguard the peace and health of the people.
